FLOW STATE
Flow State continues my exploration of the horse in motion, again drawing from the sequential photography of Eadweard Muybridge.
Three moments of a jump are held together in a single work, capturing that place where thought falls away and movement becomes instinctive.
I was experiencing that same sense of flow in my own work at the time. The title came to describe both the horses and the act of making them.
