TORO BRAVO

Toro Bravo began as a small, spontaneous clay sketch of a Spanish fighting bull. I was drawn to the tremendous physicality of the animal and the sense of energy contained within its form.

A collector encountered the small bronze and commissioned it at a larger, tabletop scale. As the project developed, a second bull emerged. With gestures that nearly mirror one another, the two bulls meet in a charged clash of mass and momentum.
