EONS

Eons expands upon Beautiful Together, bringing the horses more fully into three dimensions and the landscape into a much larger scale.

I am moved by how long humans have been compelled by horses. Our ancestors painted them on cave walls and carved them tens of thousands of years ago, and here I was, continuing that impulse across the eons.

Embedded throughout the landscape are references to the Spotted Horses of Pech Merle, the Chinese Horse of Lascaux, the Vogelherd horse and the prehistoric equid of Al-Maqar. My own handprint is there too, along with a horse tooth and stones gathered from my property in Big Timber, Montana.

Most are nearly invisible from a distance. They reveal themselves only when you come close.

I love the idea that across eons, we are still looking at horses and inspired to create.
